CREC Travels to Grand Rapids, Michigan

Mark White and Randall Arthur traveled to Grand Rapids, Michigan to present preliminary findings to stakeholders as a part of an ongoing project with the W.K. Kellog Foundation and the City of Grand Rapids.

The trip focused on describing the existing conditions and economic opportunities of targeted neighborhoods of focus, as part of an ongoing evaluation of the Grand Rapids workforce.

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation (WKKF), founded in 1930 as an independent, private foundation by breakfast cereal pioneer Will Keith Kellogg, is among the largest philanthropic foundations in the United States.
