RFP: Seeking Five Cross-Agency Teams to Participate in State Data Sharing Initiative
June 24, 2016The Center for Regional Economic Competitiveness (CREC), a national nonpartisan, nonprofit organization, is undertaking a research and technical assistance project to encourage Data Sharing for State Policy Making & Program Evaluation. This initiative aims to help state agencies expand access to administrative records in a way that protects privacy while supporting better evidence-based economic and workforce development strategies.
CREC is seeking to select five state teams to collaborate with one another and with CREC experts to help facilitate greater access to privacy-protected corporate tax and unemployment insurance data that can help validate the impact public workforce and economic development programs. Participating states will benefit from joining a strong community of peer agencies working to establish best practices in data sharing, and from tailored assistance in the design and implementation of state-specific action plans.
