Advancing Manufacturing Momentum

The CREC team will undertake several key activities to help OSD ManTech improve its impact on the education and workforce development efforts to ensure they better serve the needs of advanced manufacturing companies creating and servicing defense technologies for the U.S. warfighter. As part of that effort, CREC will help OSD ManTech assess and evaluate current workforce development strategies among key partners, including the Manufacturing Innovation Institutes. CREC will also help OSD ManTech become better represented with key partners, expanding the network supporting the defense industrial base’s talent needs. Included in CREC’s work is the coordination of direct OSD ManTech Education and Workforce Development investments as well as organizing network building activities for intermediaries and companies seeking to identify and emulate best practice solutions to expand the advanced manufacturing talent supply and meet skill demand requirements.
