Assessment of the National Labor Exchange Database for Workforce Analytics
In partnership with the LMI Institute, CREC is exploring ways to enhance the contribution of the National Labor Exchange (NLx) (jointly operated by NASWA and Direct Employers Association) to the effective functioning of labor markets in the United States. The project includes identifying and addressing opportunities for increasing (1) the value of NLx to NASWA and Direct Employer members, (2) the NLx’s utility to the nation, (3) public awareness of NASWA and its work, and (4) NLx contributions to NASWA’s bottom line. Using data generated from NLx, CREC is exploring potential analytics that may be useful in assessing labor markets to supplement other publicly available data.
