Facilitating LMI Data User Insights

In cooperation with the Labor Market Information (LMI) Institute, Projections Managing Partnership (PMP), and U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration (ETA), CREC has initiated a new capacity building program for state LMI agency staff and their customers. The goal of this project is to provide technical assistance and training for workforce and labor market information data producers employed by state workforce agencies and data users seeking to serve jobseekers, workforce policymakers, and other stakeholders. Through a series of customer discovery meetings, facilitated exchanges between data producers and their customers across states, tailored training programs, and customized technical assistance, the project will help to enhance the accuracy, timeliness, and accessibility of workforce and labor market information by equipping participants with the capacity to better utilize and analyze labor market information for informed decision-making more effectively.
