Hampton Road’s Economic Underpinnings
CREC assisted Regionerate in developing solid evidence and understanding about the economic underpinnings of the Hampton Roads, VA metropolitan area to further their work with NASA Langley in the region. To gain more in-depth understanding of the core economy and key opportunities in Hampton Roads, CREC developed supply chain diagrams for several of the region’s key target clusters and identified key companies within these target industries. With further analysis on the region’s employment and economic trends, CREC produced a narrative and webinar presentation to present findings from this analysis.
