Project Profile

Job Data Exchange Pilot Evaluation

U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation (USCCF)
Start Date: Aug 2018 — End Date: Oct 2019

CREC is evaluating the pilot of a job data exchange service for employers. This U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation (USCCF) pilot project will support a set of pioneering employers in more clearly signaling their hiring expectations to education, training and credentialing partners. This project addresses barriers to skill development and talent management identified in the USCCF Talent Pipeline Management initiative. The USCCF will leverage web-based technologies and data standards to help employers and their HR technology partners improve communication in a rapidly changing talent marketplace. The goals include better matching job seekers to employment opportunities; improving communication between employers and talent providers; improving career advancement and retention through improved transparency in job opportunities; reducing the time and cost of developing job descriptions for large and small employers.
