CREC worked with the Progress Lakeshore Foundation, Inc., in partnership with the Kewaunee County Economic Development Corporation and the Lakeshore Industry Cluster Initiative, to develop an in-depth Value‐Supply Chain Analysis of Industry Clusters in the Lakeshore Sub Region of The New North, consisting of the counties of Calumet, Door, Kewaunee, Manitowoc and Sheboygan Wisconsin. This project will focus on the Manufacturing Cluster, while exploring its supply chain connections to Energy, Food and Tourism Clusters. The aim is to initiate a forward‐looking approach to economic development that rebuilds the Lakeshore economy by increasing regional economic innovation and leveraging local assets and investments for new growth and opportunity.
