Regional Economic Impact Analysis of Fort Leonard Wood
CREC and its partner, the Leonard Wood Institute, studied and quantified the impacts stemming from the 2013 actual, and the 2015 announced personnel reductions on Fort Leonard Wood military base. This included an analysis on topic areas including employment and workforce impacts, retail and lodging, housing, schools, small business and suppliers, social and public services, transportation and other infrastructure, health care, energy, public safety, agriculture, and military family support.
