Utah Economic Development Strategy

Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED)
Start Date: May 2019 — End Date: Oct 2019

CREC is providing GOED with facilitation support and subject matter expertise to assist in developing a plan in accordance with SB-172.  The process involves engaging 15 subcommittees, identifying recommendations, and integrating those ideas into a comprehensive economic development plan.  The strategies will include efforts to address the state’s incentives, rural development efforts, innovation, and support an array of challenges facing the state as it develops initiatives to streamline economic development in response to a demand for more nimble investment strategies.
