The Center for Regional Economic Competitiveness (CREC) is an independent, not-for-profit organization founded to provide policy-makers from around the world with the information and technical assistance they need to formulate and execute innovative, regional, job-creating economic strategies.

Aleah Michael joined the Center for Regional Economic Competitiveness (CREC) team in August 2021 and serves as an Instructional Technology Specialist. Her duties include designing and developing software-training courseware for the Projections Managing Partnership (PMP) Projections Training eLearning curriculum.

Before working for CREC, Ms. Michael interned for the University of Virginia’s Orientation & New Student Programs. She has previously worked to create empowering learning experiences as a math tutor.

Aleah Michael has her B.S.Ed. in Youth and Social Innovation from the University of Virginia where she learned to integrate theory and research on youth development, programming, and policy.
