The Center for Regional Economic Competitiveness (CREC) is an independent, not-for-profit organization founded to provide policy-makers from around the world with the information and technical assistance they need to formulate and execute innovative, regional, job-creating economic strategies.

Flora Yapi recently joined CREC to provide support with publishing and disseminating all communications: including but not limited to newsletters, website updates, blogs, and social media posts. Ms. Yapi also assist in supporting the logistics for events, including trainings, conferences, and webinars (both virtual and in-person).

Ms. Yapi is a recent graduate from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor’s in Economics and a minor in Communication. During her time at Old Dominion University, Ms. Yapi worked as a Program Assistant. She also served on the executive boards of multiple student-led organizations where she spearheaded all non-profit events, non-profit fundraisers and all student’s involvement activities and events. Her areas of interest include business, Social Media Marketing, and economic development.
