Project Profile
GO Virginia
The Talent Pathway Initiative (TPI) is a project of Go Virginia Region 7 that will bring together perspectives of leaders in business and education to address Northern Virginia’s workforce needs in computer services, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies. The Center for Regional Economic Competitiveness (CREC) and George Mason University (GMU) Center for Regional Analysis (CRA) will conduct research to understand in-demand occupations and the related training programs currently available. The expertise and perspectives of the TPI Research Advisory Board will guide our work so that the final recommendations and implementation plan are relevant and actionable for policymakers, training providers, and employers in the Northern Virginia region.
