David Deutsch is the Senior Communications Manager for CREC. He spent the past 12 years as a strategic communications consultant where he worked with a wide variety of private firms, non-profit organizations, trade associations, and government entities on using communications as a strategic tool to solve complex organizational challenges. His specialties include creating and executing comprehensive communications strategies, creating and deploying social media strategies (especially LinkedIn Sales Navigator), copywriting and editing, public speaking, crisis communications, and more.

Among other career highlights, he played a key role in saving 175 jobs for a New Jersey-based manufacturer who was at risk of going out of business during the pandemic; additionally, he helped this company distribute over 1 million face shields and washable gowns throughout New York City hospitals in the early stages of the pandemic.

David has a Master’s in Communication Management from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Southern California, and a BA in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).
