In preparing of NW PA’s marketing and operations plan, CREC senior staff and partner met with Northwest Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission partners in Oil City, PA on Wednesday.

In collaboaration with Pennsylvania Economic Development Association (PEDA), Mark C. White, conducted a webinar session on economic development data needs and resources.

Findings from prior CREC study were quoted in Charlotte local news regarding workforce challenges faced by N.C furniture industry.

On November 14 and 15, 2012, Projections Managing Partnership (PMP) board retreat meeting was held at CREC office in Arlington, VA.

On November 1st, 2012, Ken Poole attended the expert panel to support federal measures of workforce education and credentialing for for the National Center on Education Statistics in Washington, D.C.
