Advanced Manufacturing Workforce Collaboration Network (ManTech)

CREC is partnering with E3 Analytics, Erys Consulting, Anthology Communications, American Manufacturing Communities Collaborative (AMCC), DoD’s Manufacturing Technology Program (ManTech), DoD’s Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation (OLDCC), and University of Kentucky Pigman College of Engineering to facilitate a collaboration network for supporting advanced manufacturing and building the future defense workforce. Through this project, CREC and its partners are assisting ManTech in creating a new working group – the Advanced Manufacturing Workforce Collaboration Network (AWCN). AWCN will help DoD identify local and regional solutions that help to address the workforce skills needs of manufacturers that contribute to the nation’s defense supply chain. The AWCN will also provide a venue where manufacturing workforce stakeholders can come together to share regional solutions and models that might be replicated across the U.S.
