Ken Poole, Marty Romitti, and Sarah Gutschow traveled to Minneapolis, Minnesota to host the second, in a series of three workshops, on enhancing states’ ability to manage and monitor business development incentives as effectively as possible.

Ron Kelly, on behalf of the LMI Institute, attended the National Association of Workforce Agencies (NASWA) Labor Market Information Committee meeting in Denver, Colorado.

Mark White and Randall Arthur traveled to Grand Rapids, Michigan to present preliminary findings to stakeholders as a part of an ongoing project with the W.K. Kellog Foundation and the City of Grand Rapids.

Martin Romitti traveled to Reno, Nevada to meet with the Program Managers for the Nevada State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI).

Jennie Allison and Lindsay Johnson attended the 16th Annual Local Employment Dynamics (LED) Partnership Workshop hosted by the U.S. Census Bureau in Washington D.C.

Ken Poole, Mark White, and Haden Springer conducted a training workshop at Gadsden State Community College in Gadsden, Alabama.

Ron Kelly and William Cook provided training for the Arizona Commerce Authority in Yuma, Arizona.

Ron Kelly and Lindsay Johnson collaborated with the Workforce Information Council to host a natinal convening on skills data in Arlington, Virginia.

Mark White presented findings from the presented results from the CREC-WVU report, Appalachia Then and Now: Examining Changes to the Appalachian Region since 1965 to listening sessions in Morgantown, West Virignia.

The Council for Community and Economic Research (C2ER) and the Labor Market Information (LMI) Institute held their annual conference and forum in Portland, Oregon.
