CREC Launches New Cluster Research Project in East North Carolina

April 9, 2012

CREC was recently chosen by North Carolina’s Upper Coastal Plain Council of Governments (UPCOG) to conduct a cluster analysis for the region’s five-county area.  This analysis will build on CREC’s previous work completed in the Eastern Region and other parts of North Carolina and provide in-depth examination of the emerging and declining clusters in the five counties.  The findings from this analysis will be used to support the planning and development process in the UPCOG region.
