CREC Delivered Training On Regional Economic Analysis in Ontario, Cananda
April 18, 2013This training,Foundations for Regional Economic Analysis, was designed to help economic developers and policy makers to be more efficient and effective in making strategic planning decisions through a data-driven approach. During this two-day training session, the participants were introduced to a variety of methodologies and techniques used in regional economic analysis, including conducting basic industrial and economic impact analysis, identifying comparative advantage, analyzing clusters and value chains, and examining workforce needs and gaps.This training was conducted in accordance with a training manual CREC developed earlier for EDCO.
