CREC Met with Local Stakeholders to Assess ARC Impacts
July 16, 2014These two meetings were hosted seperately by the SEDA-Council of Governments in Lewisburg, PA as well as High Country Council of Governments in Boone, NC. At both meetings, the local stakeholders saw ARC investments as vitally important to the communities they serve, especially for the most rural communities. Additionally, the flexibility, consistency and predictability of ARC funding and services was cited as being critical to meeting the needs of rural and distressed communities.
CREC will compile memos for ARC based on conversations happened at each of the local meetings to provide initial assessments of ARC’s regional impacts and changes.
