CREC Participates in the MSAMC Implementation Amalgamation Workshop in Dearborn, Michigan
December 4, 2014CREC Staff, Mark White and Haden Springer, traveled to Henry Ford College in Dearborn, MI to participate in an “Implementation Amalgamation Workshop” with leaders of the Multi-State Advanced Manufacturing Consortium (M-S AMC), a group of thirteen community colleges across 10 states seeking to modernize manufacturing education with emphasis on the automotive industry.
During the workshop, Mark and Haden presented CREC’s work to support the Consortium by developing web-based tools and training to encourage the use of economic and workforce data to inform manufacturing education curriculum and program development.
The M-S AMC and CREC’s participation in this effort is supported by a U.S. Department of Labor Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) grant.
