CREC Attends Joint WDQC & WICHE Meeting in Chicago, Illinois
July 28, 2015Ron Kelly attended a joint meeting convened by the Workforce Data Quality Campaign and Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education in Chicago, Illinois.
The purpose of the meeting was to develop a shared understanding of ways in which mulitstate education and workforce data can be used to improve program outcomes.
Workforce Data Quality Campaign (WDQC) is a non-profit, non-partisan initiative that advocates for inclusive, aligned and market-relevant data systems used for advancing the nation’s skilled workforce and helping U.S. industries compete in a changing economy.
The Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education is a regional organization created by the Western Regional Education Compact and adopted in the 1950s by Western states. WICHE was created to facilitate resource sharing among the higher education systems of the West. It implements a number of activities to accomplish its objectives
