CREC Participates in National Association of Workforce Boards Webinar
November 11, 2015Martin Romitti served as a panelist for the National Association of Workforce Boards (NAWB) webinar on data-driven performance: Transforming Data into Intelligence for Workforce Development Program Success.
This webinar focused on data driven decision making, identifying available resources and detailing how labor market information and program performance data is making states and regions more analytic when it comes to setting appropriate strategic goals and for developing and delivering effective workforce programs and practices.
Dr. Romitti offered attendees guidance on effective data use, best practices for making data-driven decision standard operating procedure, and provided an example of how to transform data into intelligence.
NAWB represents approximately 550 Workforce Development Boards and their 12,000+ business members that coordinate and leverage workforce strategies with education and economic development stakeholders within their local communities, to ensure that state and local workforce development and job training programs meet the needs of employers.
